McCormick Pledges Support To More Smallholder Farmers

SPARKS, Md., March 8, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- McCormick & Company, Incorporated (NYSE: MKC), a global leader in flavour, announced the expansion of its partnership with the National Cooperative Business Association, CLUSA International (NCBA CLUSA). The two organizations signed a Memorandum of Understanding to bring farmer resiliency and livelihood programs to several new countries including India, Brazil, Sri Lanka and Vietnam among others. McCormick and NCBA CLUSA have a 30-year relationship which expands processing and export capabilities of local farmers in Indonesia and East Timor.

McCormick and NCBA CLUSA will focus on goals that include increased productivity, technology adoption and linking farmers to markets, as well as improved health and nutrition, especially for women and children.
NCBA CLUSA is the largest and oldest U.S. cooperative trade association with development programs in 19 countries.
